According to a Minnesota Newspaper something terrible has happened to the University of Minnesota just weeks before the season opener against Air Force.
After a legislation that banned serving alcohol in the Golden Gophers brand new stadium 15 of the high prized VIP-boxes were cancelled right away, and even more of the fairly expensive Club Seats as well. Adding up it seems that the University of Minnesota is taking a big economic hit from all this.
Not worth mentioning that the state of Minnesota was colonized by Swedes and that the genes are still working accordingly :)

ReplyDeleteKan bara säga att stadion ser riktigt fet ut när jag var där och kikade och mina vänner i minnesota sa att det kommer bli knökfullt där hela tiden (mot metrodome som var lite mer än halvfullt när jag såg Michigan vs MN)
Förövrigt kan jag tillägga att de är jävligt stolta över ha NCAA näst största bildskärm (tror den största är Godzillatron i texas).
